18 Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. 19 Husbands, love your wives and do not be embittered against them.
Marriage Under the Lordship of Jesus – Husbands
Theme: The marriage relationship under the love and lordship of Christ involves distinct roles for husbands and wives, but at the same time, equality of worth and dignity.
Outline: Husbands who are submitted to the Lord Jesus Christ display their love for Him in their marriage relationship in three primary ways:
- Lover of his wife
- Leader of his wife/family
- Learner of his wife
